7.1 Increasing Resource Production and Population Growth
In the dynamic world of your virtual land, enhancing your resource production and growing your population are key factors for progress. As you embark on your journey to build a thriving realm, it's important to understand how to optimize resource collection and expand your community.
Initial Resources: Upon registering your bitmap and starting the game, you will receive a daily allocation of each resource designated for your continent. Each day, you receive 10 resources, forming the initial bedrock of your burgeoning empire. With 10 humans already at your command—5 labor specialists, 3 industrial experts, and 2 professionals—you possess a diverse workforce ready to shape your realm's destiny.
Facilities and Human Workforce: Your initial facilities, such as oil pumps, farms, and factories, require a human workforce to operate effectively. Initially, your land provides the specialized workforce for these facilities. For example, an oil pump will require labor human. You also need to grow your population and upgrade your facilities to produce more.
Population Growth and Human Migration: To increase your human workforce and overall population, you can construct residential facilities. These facilities increase your capacity to accommodate more humans. Growing your population is essential, as more individuals mean more workers for your facilities, thus boosting resource production. As every day you get a new mere human, you need to feed him a certain diet to grow them into a specialized human. This takes place in the residents.
Migration and Specialization Exchange: If you seek to boost your human workforce, you can initiate migration. In the immigration office, you'll find offers from other players who are willing to send specialized humans to you for a fee. For instance, if you need more industrial workers and another player has an excess and offers his workers, you can take his offer and the humans will migrate to you.
Population Growth and Food Consumption: Expanding your population requires feeding your humans. You'll need to allocate resources for food, and each growing human will consume a fixed amount of food. As your population increases, so does the demand for sustenance. To create new humans, a certain amount of food must be consumed. The more humans you have, the higher the consumption of food will be required.
Resource Collection Time and Efficiency: Each facility has its own resource collection time, which can vary based on factors such as facility level, or the efficiency of the resources corresponding to A rating (soil, forest, sun, wind). Note that upgrading the facility will result in more humans working there and thus leads to increased production per player intervention.
Remember, your journey is just beginning, and your choices will shape the destiny of your virtual realm. Through careful planning and skillful management, you can harness the potential of your resources and guide your civilization toward success.
